We received the best customer service we've ever experienced in a trade store from Lucien in the timber yard. He spent nearly two hours at the end of a busy Sunday and truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. He made sure we were getting what we needed for our decking project without breaking the bank and worked hard until the very last minute before closing. It's so rare to find someone genuinely interested in helping you out these days. Thank you Lucien! We couldn't have done it without you.
Love this place. We brought a lot of seeds to plant they are the cheapest by far. The sales assistant helped me out with them letting me know if they were suitable to plant now. Oyr boy had play in the play ground while I sat and watched with a drink I brought from there cafe. So i will be back again.
Getting service in the isles is always a real effort . Sometime you need to ask a question but never anybody around. Have walked out on many occasions as undecided as to my purchase Gone to Mitre 10 and got my answers. Its a bit like the warehouse, never any help
The staff need customer training. Very unhelpful standing around in groups talking instead of focusing on customer support. Staff training on the different products might give them more confidence to share honest information . The ladies at checkout were more worried about their own issues instead of focusing on the customer and as a result have a made while scanning the different items.
So for an out of town contractor, they were above obligating. The girls at Trade were awesome with a witty comic attitude. Paint specialists were very patient with me. Kitchen specialist was outstanding with the planning and creation of the kitchen set I required. All in all very satisfied.

Typically good Bunnings store. Bought a plunger for the sink. Tried to buy an electric kettle but they don't sell those. So big that it is worthwhile to download their app because it tells you which aisle to look for any item. The aisles are well spaced so you have plenty of room.
Good range of products but the customer service is not very great. When asking for products, many employees did not know where to find them or would tell you they thought it was on a certain aisle and then continue on their way.
I had to return a tarpaulin cover purchased in 2021 which had a 4 year warranty on it but after less than a year had deteriorated and was no longer fit for purpose . The staff member I dealt with was very dismissive of my complaint I felt her attitude unhelpful and feel a refresher course in customer service for Bunnings staff would go a long way
I like Bunnings - its always a pleasure to go there. Plenty to choose from but usually only one check out operating so there's a wait.
