1980, Queenstown. OUR hometown. That's where it all started ...
Nigel & Derek Brown were two young Queenstown racers competing on the World Cup Circuit in Europe. Starting a ski shop was a natural extension of their enthusiasm & knowledge of skiing. Pretty soon Browns Ski Shop was to become a shrine to the big alpine where like-minded people worked & shared vital knowledge.
Skiing is our passion. It drives us. first tracks. The perfect run. For all of us at Browns Ski Shop it's a spiritual feeling. Everything we do is driven by our love of skiing - to search out the best from around the world so that we can offer you the best to share in our passion.

I’d recommend if you can go to another ski shop, do so.

Wanted a spair part for my boots but they wouldn't sell it to me unless I gave them the boot so that they could charge me for the mounting as well. Pretty rediculous.

So much care and attention to get the right boots, skis and fit.  Love the buy back promise once the kids grow out of their boots.

They really go the distance and have expert knowledge.  I would highly recommend shopping here.

Was happy to helping get a faulty product replaced even tbough they didn't  sell it to me. Says alot.
