Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. I loved the unique painted counter in the dining area .The produce in the shop is of the very best quality. Lots of parking next to the orchard. I will visit again soon!
Called in on our way thru...had already eaten elsewhere so didn't stop in their wonderful cafe but got interesting bits for Christmas hampers & amazing apples! . Shop is well laid out & stock is a mix of essentials & eclectic, interesting booze or food choices. We didn't have a cool bag with us or we'd have had some fun at the butcher counter!! Next time!. Go & Enjoy. It's a lovely place with great people & a local business we should support!
Great farm shop and more. This was for us to have a relaxing weekend.
This place has come highly recommended and I can see why. My husband and I visited for breakfast with our 2 springer spaniel dogs. We are trying to socialise them more and so this was our 1st inside eating experience with them. We were quite stressed but the staff immediately put us at ease. We had a lovely table inside, by the door with lots of space for us and the dogs. We both ordered the breakfast - it was delicious! We actually didn’t eat until that evening as it filled us up so much. It was very busy in there but we still received excellent service, friendly and most definitely dog friendly. We can’t wait to return.
Nice place well set out. I brought my self a steak and ale pie and a chicken tikka pasty both were delicious. I also had a coffee and walnut cake and treacle tart which l am very sorry to say we're very dry and can't eat them. My 2 sisters also brought cake and said they also found them very dry so disappointed and a waste of money. Victoria plums are lovely.
Amazing farm shop, lovely staff. The cheese and meat counter are worth the visit alone. There is a pear orchard on their grounds which they also sell in their store. Selection of produce and goods is amazing. Will be visiting again the next time we are nearby.
Good selection of produce, especially cherries and strawberries at this time of year. Amazing butchery counter and cakes to tempt you. Found the coffee shop a little disappointing as limited menu and quite expensive. Service was excellent.
We called at the farm shop cafe for a coffee and a snack, I had a sausage bap with home made sausages the bap was dry with no butter and the 2 sausages were dry and not very tasty. For £6.50 I would have expected better. But thinking about it I don't think any amount of butter would have made any difference to the roll. And I don't know how long the sausages had been cooked, they were dry and tasteless.
Called in without a booking on a Saturday lunchtime, warned of 30 minutes wait but got a table in about 5 mins. Staff were lovely and the food was superb. Shop area is top notch too.
Nice farm shop set up but cafe is very slow. On a Monday lunch we waited 15 minutes at our table but were unable to order as the staff were expert at blanking any effort to engage them. We gave up and departed.
