Very classic bar with friendly people and good food. Beer selection is great
The steak meal is one of the best I've had in The area. Cold beer, great staff and fun trivia even though we're just participants Food: 4/5
Great friendly family pub! Excellent host Uwe and very helpful staff.
By far the greatest pub I have visited. Uwe the owner is the most amazing man I have met. Be sure to visit any and all days you get free Edit: This review is still valid after years. Another edit: Still an amazing pub Another another edit: Still a mint pub
Where do I start… Firstly, the lines for the tap beer taste like they’ve not been cleaned since they were installed. The starters were Camembert and bacon + sausage bap. Camembert you can get better from the frozen section in pak n save. The bap wasn’t a bap nor did it have bacon, sausage was average, bread was soggy. Mains were crispy pork belly and fish, chips with smash peas. Crispy pork belly had no crisp and we struggled to get our teeth through the rubbery meat. Had 1 bite each and it was awful. Fish smelt like it had been left in a chilly bin for 10 days, not on ice. Tasted old. Batter was soggy like the bread. Meal didn’t come with smash peas as stated. On a plus curry sauce was delicious. Absolute waste of money and time. My partner has called the number below, left a voicemail and hasn’t heard back.
Firstly, the fish I had was first class, cooked to perfection, absolutely the best half a meal I've had in a long time. The rest of our party's meals were as amazing I was told. Also the two staff members wearing Black AB vs Irland game night were awesome. But, what put a damper and a bitter taste to the evening, was the lady that cleared our table while I was still eating my food, I had half a meal left but couldn't finish it with her cleaning up, unfortunately I got stressed with her clearing everything off, she obviously thought I was too slow? It's sad with staff that doesn't have any manners, she could at least have asked before she started to clear the table. Also it would have been nice, to at least been offered to take the rest of my meal with me. Anyway... Please, let the chef know how perfectly cooked everything was, could not have been better.
I loved the place as they served delicious foods and authentic Irish beers. Friendly staffs and professional services. Highly recommend to stop by and try foods and beers then you will understand why I am recommend the place.
This place is amazing and friendly service. Love to support local and also love the beer ;
Foods are fantastic and the prices are reasonable.best services.
Went there on a Sunday afternoon about 4.30. It was quiet but as time went by the "regulars" started to roll in. The young girls behind bar were friendly enough although very quiet. Didnt try the food, roast day sunday, but have heard its pretty good. Wasn't much atmosphere due to being quiet but the beer was cold Might try again on another busier day.
