I went to Porirua Briscoes yesterday to buy 6 dining chairs. I was told they only had couple chairs and 4 in petone. I was told to order online . I went on Briscoes site to order and it was still on sale but when I was going to do the payment it showed me full price. I was very disappointed and called next day as it was closed, after talking to 4 other people before I spoke to the manager. He said he can do it for another price but not same as I wanted frm the sale price. I explained him everything how his staff directed me wrong to do order online rather than taking from the store. He was not at all help but said he can only give me 1 chair and I have to deal with petone briscoes for other 5 chairs for full price as the price was changed next day. When I ordered the price was still sale price but processing my payment time they put full price. I gave him the screenshot he asked for, but he did not help me at all. What a shame to be a Manager like him who knows it's there fault and no help. Very disappointed
Took a malfunctioning product back in for warranty and that was only a couple of months old. The boy there plugged it in and used it for all of 30s and then said it was fine. Didn’t offer us to send it to the manufacturer for inspection and basically said we had to deal with it. Very disappointed and unprofessional.
Be careful when you shop in store. Always check the price online! I bought a duvet set with pillow cases missing. Thought it was a bargain but the price they gave me was higher than a complete set online the color I chose was sold out but I could see other colors’ price.
Young man Yusaf was a big help, bought a heater, and he helped me get it to the car. Great young man!
They say it is great for a deal.... I am not sure if the sales are genuine. I believe NZ should to to Marked prices and then we will know if we are getting a deal. 50 to 60 % deals almost all year long smells of mark up of 50% to offer the deals.
