I was served by a lovely young woman named Lucy today, at the Briscoes New Plymouth store, where I purchased a Shark Upright vacuum cleaner that was selling online at a cheaper price at another retailer. Not only did Lucy agree to price match, but she beat the other retailer's price by a further 10%. I am so happy right now. Thank you Lucy for honouring Briscoes price match guarantee and for making my shopping experience in your store extra memorable with your pleasant customer service.
Brought a Auto vacuum cleaner and the charger blew up first use.nBought the charger back with the receipt, staff had zero flexibility about swapping it out. Basically they wanted to me to drive 40 minutes home to get the whole vacuum cleaner, use 10 bucks worth of gas, and an hour of my time to swap out a $4 part that I could buy online.nPretty average service if you ask me.nLeft the faulty part there and walked out. Won't be shopping there again if after sales services that bad.
Welcoming friendly, courteous & knowledgeable store assistant & checkout staff. Bedding, kitchen wares, duvet & household items @ 1 location. Store assistant knows his stock @ his finger tips & pickup from store to customer in less than 5 minutes. very efficient & courteous staff
The product I brought I seen had been open and the box was ripped on the inside, I asked if I could swop it and was told no and that people are allowed to open them, from now on when I shop there I'll make sure I rip every box open
It's an okay store. However , the cram so many aisles into the store, it's impossible to get around with any efficiency. They don't have an obvious 'click and collect ' location in store. It's not made clear where it is. For such a big store they refuse to employ many staff. Lots of till waiting and absolutely no one on the shop floor for any help. It's just another 'profit only' driven commercial store. It's also way overpriced, and the same quality , if not better , can be found elsewhere like NZ Sale for way less $$$
