Wet Plate
Experience yesterday, today with handmade, - one-of-a-kind, forever photography.
Wet-plate photography utilities chemicals and methods identical to those used in the 1850's to product unique images on glass, tin or acrylic plates.
The plates are coated with collodion then sensitised, exposed and developed 'on the spot'; producing positive plates or negatives which can be used for alternate processes.
Brian has been practicing the 'black-fingered' art for about 30 years and Jane joined him in late 2014. They are very enthusiastic about this vintage art form and keen to share it with others.
One or two-day workshops are available - call us today!
