Great pub! Outdoor tables, vibrant atmosphere, great pints and lively locals. It gets really crowded on quiz nights.Service: 4/5
This place has an awesome vibe. From the fun and unique decor to the friendly staff and delicious food, it's a great place to visit. We managed to get through most of the cocktail list. Each was very delicious and well priced for cocktails. The bartender was super friendly and gave us a sneak peek on some new cocktails. You could tell he really enjoyed what he does. Food was tasty and came out in a good amount of time.
Have been here for a couple of after work events. The pizzas are delicious. Recommend the Pepperoni. Also have $1 wings on Fridays? Also super tasty. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Parking: There is a public car park to the right of this place. Limited parking spots and a time limit of two hours? Haven't been ticketed or seen a parking warden patrol. Off street parking down the road. It is a busy area in the evenings though so usually full up fast.
Great place and even better people. A huge thank you to the management for today kind gesture and their understanding. After about 7 minutes of us ordering our food and taking two sips of my beer my partner and I got a call from our childcare centre advising we needed to attend immediately. The team had already started cooking our food but it wasn’t yet cooked enough for us to take away so the staff insisted we only pair for our drinks. This is a great pub and I’ve always enjoyed spending time here drinking, eating and watching sport which always has a great vibe. If you are looking for someone to catch up with friends then please check out this place. We will be back to enjoy your great food and hospitality in the near future and this will now always be my default cheeky pint hotspot. When my 18months old son turns 18 I can share a pint or two here with him and tell him this story.
Today I booked an appointment with one of our clients to meet at Lord Kitchener at 10.30am without realizing that the restaurant opens at 12pm. We were standing wondering what to do as there were not many cafes around. Suddenly, one of the staff members, Stephanie came to us and explained that the restaurant opens late, but she said if it's just drinks in a takeaway cup paid with EFTPOS, she can serve, and she took our order and helped us. I really would like to thank Stephanie and the management for training the staff to take care of the customers well. I will definitely bring my clients here in the future to show our support. Thank you, Lord Kitchener team.
Great beer selection here. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice place not cluttered with obnoxious gaming machines, and vile background muzak. Meals good, standard pub fare. I enjoy coming here it's a local.Food: 3/5
Came here for Wednesday $20 Steak Night. Meals were massive for $20. Service was a bit slow but I think that was due to Auckland’s Level 2 restrictions. Would recommend checking out their daily specials. BBQ chicken wings were really yum as well
Superb place for a Friday evening. The bartender made super cocktails. Loved the ambience. Great customer service. There is car parking.
Awsome $20 pork roast sundays only with all the trimmings including a Yorkshire....very yummy
I had a great birthday celebration Sunday Lunch with 40 guests at Lord Kitchener today. An excellent environment, great service, delicious food. Several of my guests said they will go back again. Recommend.
