A great spot for a cuppa or lunch after a round of golf and the cafe is open to the public as well. Dropped in for lunch on a Mon and it was bustling with those taking a break from golf or those just there for a feed or refuel. Service was quick and friendly and our food was excellent. Although the only downside was that one of our coffees was in a takeaway cup as they ran out of cups. Overall experience was lovely especially on a sunny afternoon where you can enjoy the views at the same time.
Luncheon here with family when I was visiting Lower Hutt.. spacious and clean.. reasonable cabinet food selection with extensive menu..both large and small meals. The chocolate caramel slice was perfect and Eggs Benne probably the best I have ever had. Others are stuff potato and pumpkin soup with bread which was big enough for two. Coffees nicely timed and presented...view out over the lush greenery of the golf course so relaxing... spacious placing of tables so noise from other patrons no issue. Will definitely go back.
Relaxing views and comfortable spacious setting: trouble free parking. The selection of food and drink most adequate; only disappointment was the attitude of the two younger women who served us; no 'friendly manner' and seemed bored.
Had a catch up round here with my old mates from the KGC.I hadn't played here since playing the temporary course while it was being reconfigured a few years ago.nThe clubhouse is fantastic and the facilities like the driving range are top notch. Live the sprig bar and the inclusive attitude to visitors. And the staff were super friendly too.nThe course looks great and a massively different course it is with great fairway contours, bunkers and greens. Greens are running really nicely, trees have taken off.nThe only downside was the weather on the back 9.
wanted to book a round on call. person who served me was extremely impatient and ignorant, told him js to wait for 1 min to confirm what time i was free with my dad and he js annoyingly js said call me later does bro not have 1 minute left to spare. such a bad experience on call flied all the way from auckland to wellington and all i get is this?
