This was my first time travelling on the BlueBridge and I have to say it was a great experience.nnBoarded myself and my vehicle on my sailing on time and without fuss.nnStaff were friendly and oh my goodness that burger I had was insane. A double beef and bacon burger with perfect fries.nnFell asleep in the comfy lounge chairs too.nnThen who can go past the views on a beautiful day like today.nnWould be happy to recommend BlueBridge.
The staff were incredible, really friendly! There's loads of amenities on board: kids club, cinema, bar, cafe, restaurant, viewing deck, etc.nThe views are spectacular! Definitely check out the outside viewing deck, or get a seat in the restaurant with a view out the window!
Despite the sea sickness, we had a smooth trip. The weather was great, so we were outside the whole time, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
EVERYTHING was closed for the night with the last trip of the evening to Te Waipounamu. This made it a weird ghost-ship with nothing to do.nWould've been nice to get a cuppa and maybe a bite to eat from somewhere.nAll around people, mostly truckers I believe, slumped over chairs and hiding under coats on corners.nAn odd ferry trip to say the least, no staff to be seen anywhere neither..
You get a good crossing with this company, we took the night boat and the beds were clean just like the cabin we had. It's only a pity that you do not see the beautiful nature of the southern island by the night boat.
