"Blooming Local is a tiny urban flower farm on the east coast of Christchurch. The flowers we grow are within Canterbury’s natural seasons, with sustainable and organic practices. We also use other skilled and local growers to supplement what we don’t grow ourselves. This gives us the ability to custom design your order offering you the freshest product that our local area has to offer. Our bouquets and arrangements are known for their affordability, yet elegant presentation, design, and appearance."

Blooming Local Ngā Putiputi did an amazing job with some flowers for my recent wedding. We had decorated the venue with plants instead of florals to try and be sustainable, but we were at a loss of how we could get a bridal bouquet, flowergirl posey and grooms buttonhole to fit with our sustainability goals and we were looking at doing without. Then we found Bodeine. She was super responsive, absolutely nailed the look we were after, was unbelievably reasonably priced and all this while being the most sustainable florist I have ever found! I would definitely recommend to any brides out there and anyone who is after flowers fullstop. Ngā mihi Bodeine!
