Story

Blenheim Riverside Railway runs trains along a 5.5km line beside the Taylor River in Blenheim, New Zealand. We run on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month at 1:45, 3 and sometimes 4pm. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. Blenheim Riverside Railway Society is completely run by volunteers, and we would welcome for you to help with many different tasks, just ask the train crew for details.

Very nice vintage town, with old stores and rail train
Worth a look! Ride the trains on Sundays. Fun for the kids.. interesting for the adults. Was privileged enough to see these classic beauties out and about.
It was very nice to ride on a couple of trains this Easter. Thanks all of you who volunteer to run these ventures. Thanks Christchurch group who brought their trains up.
Went to Brayshaw for the Saturday morning Market. Very enjoyable with about 50 stalls to go through. I bought an amazing Tractor made from a Singer sewing machine as a memento of my visit.
Many Memories had here as a child, most of the buildings are still the same, the rail way has been given a facelift.

It was not open but went to the market in its car park on Saturday morning. Some bargains.
Disappointed to not have everything open on open day. Needs a lot of attention and upgrading. Hope they can get more assistance to maintain it. The buggy stable guy was great and his display was excellent. Good to see engines working too.

This is a really neat place to visit and it's really interesting. Entry by donation only. Give yourself plenty of time to have a good look round.
