Blacksand Cafe

The food here was presented very well, tasted delicious, and had quiet friendly service. The ambiance was also very warm and welcoming.

Had the yummiest brekkie this morning. Big Vegetarian Brekkie for me & Eggs Benny with bacon for the mister. It would've been a 5 star rating but my chai latte was more milk than anything. Couldn't really taste the chai.

This cafe is always open so if you are an early starter, you will alway be able to get breakfast and coffee before any of the other cafes are open. Super friendly and really efficient service

Perhaps it was an off day but the place was cold and the eggs benedict were watery and undercooked, the sauce wasn't very fresh tasting - might be better at lunch - but for me - it's a no.

We had bagel with cream cheese and smashed Avo with poached eggs. Also 2 flat whites. All very nice. We'd been avoiding the place because of the bad reviews here but tried it because our favourite cafe wasn't open. The staff were nice, the food was nice as was the coffee. So perhaps give them a try you might be surprised.

We were here on Sunday, 28 of January 2018 at about 4:30pm. We ordered nachos. This was the worst nachos I had in a long time. Very little cheese. And NO sour cream. The French waitress was more interested in talking to her french friends going past than serving customers. But yeah the food was horrible

Normal portion size. Nice cheese burger. Fell apart which shows it was filled well. Thickshakes came in warm glasses which wasn't helpful but tasty nonetheless

Maggots in the Afghan Biscuits. No Joking. Wasn't just the one biscuit. Even worse the staff did not seem that bothered. Gave us a refund, but no apology. Wish we'd taken a photo, but pretty much put us off everything they produced. Ordered a couple of other cakes and was served with the tiniest ones you could imagine.
