We visited on Mother's Day 2022. The whole experience was flawless. They have a diverse menu that surely appeals to a wide variety of dinners. The ambience of the dining room is warm and inviting and not crammed. The welcome was friendly and the table staff have hospitality plus, but it comes with a genuine desire to make your experience special. Our meals were beautifully crafted and presented. I received my steak cooked perfect, medium rare, very well done chef. All in all we couldn't fault the experience and we'd recommend highly.
Foods are delicious. Price is a bit high, approx $40-50 per person without drinks. Service is good. Waiting time for food to be served was around 20 minutes despite the restaurant was not busy. Their coffee is good, it is not in the drink menu. We asked the staff and they confirmed that they do make coffee. The restaurant do high tea as well. Parking is in front of the restaurant as it is always full.
Lovely atmosphere, excellent customer service, great selection of food & wine. The food was fantastic. I went here with my partner for his birthday and asked for a special request of a desert at the end of the meal. We had it delivered out to us and was a surprise for him. Very yummy. Absolutely will be back! Vegetarian options: So many options!
Front of house were very polite, drinks were delicious. The starter boards we ordered were inedible, everything was drenched in olive oil, which I don’t mind but not on the degree that which we were served. Mains were well cooked, very very odd flavour combinations. Deserts were lovely. This wasn’t worth the almost $150 dollars I paid for mediocre food Parking: Awful
Had dinner with our year old. So glad that this restaurant had kids meal! So blown away with their lamb ribs and scotch fillet steak…we ordered the lamb ribs and oh my God it is so tender with a very smoky flavour … the tangy sauce in it complements perfectly To the lamb. We also had the farmers market soup. It was good but nothing special… their forest mushrooms is also a must try. But probably because we are too full that I did not get to enjoy it but still, it was good!
Everything was great , ingredients are eye picked fresh from the chicken Caesar salad to the mezze plate and scotch fillet . Waitress 5
Wonderful experience with Bistro Lago for lunch. Nice service, good food, beautiful view.
The dinner is marvellous: beef is soft, oyster is fresh, cauliflower soup is yummy. The buffet breakfast is enjoyable too. Friendly staff and lovely customers services.
My husband and 3 kids went for a dinner meal on the 30 of december, I was a little concerned as our children can be loud but your staff were amazing, so lovley and accomadating. We also found the cost very reasonable for the standard of care and amazing food that we were given. If we are passing again we wouldn't hesitate to come for a yummy meal.
We had breakfast twice and cocktails once at Bistro Lago during our stay at the Hilton. The staff at the restaurant is very friendly, willing to go above and beyond when we had special needs for our kids. The breakfast is extensive, with warm food cooked to order - normal egg stuff you would expect - and cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, pastries and a lot more. They make good cocktails as well, with small plates that are quite delicious try anything seafood.
