Story

Biohoney is an innovative and small family owned company based in Nelson at the top of New Zealand’s southern Island. Biohoney makes being small an advantage – selecting carefully only the best quality honey and ingredients. It’s not unusual for one batch of honey to be selected from 20-30 samples.

And what better environment is there? The purest actives in the world are found in New Zealand nature and form the basis of Biohoney premium skincare and honey products.

Biohoney edible honey products are sourced exclusively from the South Island of New Zealand. This isolated landmass is characterised by mountains, bush and is sparsely populated. A perfect habitat for bees and the source of the world’s purest honey.

Each Biohoney product is carefully selected by honey expert Terry Bone. A respected innovator of honey products for more than 12 years.

New Zealand’s manuka honey is highly valued for its unique properties. Biohoney’s Manuka Honey has been tested by an independent laboratory to establish its MGO content.

Certified Organic Clover Honey
Available in 250g and 500g
To be certified organic this honey has been harvested from clover flowers growing in spray and chemical free pastures. The hot, dry summers of Central Otago are captured by this classic, traditional honey. It is a delicate flavoured honey with notes of sweet, dry grass.

Beech Forest Honeydew
Available in 250g and 500g
BioHoney’s Honeydew is harvested from the remote beech forests that cover large areas of the South Island of NZ.
