Welcome to the cycling heaven that is Wanaka!
We offer Bike Rental, Sales, Track Info, Full Workshop, Kids Bikes, E-Bikes and more.

Our picturesque town in the Central Lakes District of the South-island is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and beautiful lakes. A paradise for mountain-bike lovers with plenty of options including unbeaten single and downhill tracks for you to try out such as Sticky Forest, Deans Bank and River tracks.

Cycle enthusiasts looking for a peaceful road-cycling adventure will find themselves on the "quietest sealed roads" New Zealand has to offer. No traffic light will stop your flow, as there is none to find in a 100km in any direction!

We hired 2 ebikes for a day and had a great time. The bikes were in good condition, and the service was friendly and relaxed - with some very useful local tips. We've already recommended to friends.
Friendly people with nice mountain bikes. They showed us how to ride the trail en where to drink coffee. We hired for half a day, had an excellent trail, had a swim in the river en brought the 3 bikes back. Paid only $30 per bike.
Good fun, good route advice, good times! ...and those e-bikes are great fun too!
Super simple to rent a bike. Easy, quick and friendly. The bike was of good quality and didn't let us down. Walk in the fringe and ridge our the back. They loaned me a till to adjust my seat on the go as I'm a bit fiddly with wanting my seat height just so. Easy setup of to. Out in a couple of minutes. Take the extra bike insurance.
Very helpful and relaxed staff. Got us sorted after walkin in no time. If you are looking to rent a bike, this is the place. Thank you, guys!
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and affordable. If you rent a bike, Be sure to do the scenic trail to Albert Town - it’s incredible!
We hired bikes for the day. Staff super friendly and informative, did that little bit extra to ensure our comfort. Would hire from Bike Lounge again next time!
