Magical a beautiful spot and a lovely calm beach for the children
One of the best beaches in Auckland! New parking barriers have been put up where you used to be able to park on the grass verge. Instead, you will probably need to park on side streets and walk to beach. Toilets available down the right end of the beach.
Gorgeous safe beach. Yacht club end has carpark, toilets, shower & usually a food or ice cream truck. Toilets also down the far other end & rcommend walking aprox 20 steps up the road to see the fairy houses. Nice to be able to set up under the shade of a tree. Water is clear, sand only under foot. Floating pontoon to swim out to and jump off. Similar to Orewa beach, in that it does not get deep to quick. Highly recommend for young children
Always love going for a walk or swim on those hot days. Great way to relax and uncluttered the brain.
Lovely beach, warm sand on your feet, no rocks or pebbles. I enjoyed a beach walk here on a really nice summer afternoon.
