Lovely safe beach for the family to swim, grass to lay your picnic blanket if you dont like the crunch in you lunch.
Beautiful bay to swim and play. Public toilets are kept clean. Swimming playform for the kids. It says a Marine Reserve but many people I see fishing so I dont know if theres local license or something but no one seems phased.nFish and Chip shop by the bakery a little after Z - on same road is a great place to pick up cheap and lge portions of fish n chips.
A quiet bay with nice swimming. We wanderd around the rocks to the East of the bay for a lovely private swim. No shops to tempt the kids. Toilets about half way along the beach. Sheltered from a north wind. Nice view of Rangitoto Is and the city
Beautiful little bay in a north shore suburb. Clean toilets , great parking. perfect swimming spot with kids with bay being shallow and fantastic fishing spot and beautiful views. walk on the ridge at low tide to the rock to fish from. Be careful when it high tide and u have to return in the dark.
Incredible beach. Lovely sand,water,shells,rocks and trees. Always so many cute dogs at the beach, friendly people to chat with, lots of kina and starfishes ive seen. Everything is great about it just be careful by the big rocks where the fishers fish it's slippery
