The beef with pomegranate was absolutely the highlight — it honestly tasted like a warm, homemade meal from my mum nEverything, from the dishes to the salads, was clearly fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of flavour.nnWe came here twice, once for dinner and again the next day for lunch, and loved it both times. It’s not a fancy place, but the food is on a completely different level, especially for such reasonable prices.nnIt was also our first time sharing a table with another group, which made the experience even more unique and fun. We really enjoyed every moment
Very delicious and healthy meal! The meat options such as the meatballs and beef with pomegranate were amazing. I also love the gratin which had just the right amount of sweetness. Would come again!
I was eyeing this shop the whole time at wanaka as the way how they serve the food was interesting concept here.nYou get to choose from 3 kinds of plate size and each plate also you various options.nSmall - 4 options $17nMedium - 5 options $24nLarge - 6 options $31nYou get to choose 1 meat and then salad and vegetables, very vegetarian friendly too!nnWe got the meat balls and grilled chicken and I must say the vege selection impressed me, the grilled broccoli has to be the crowd favorite as everyone ordered that and it did not disappoint at all, chargrilled to perfection, drizzle with some harissa yogurt dressing it was heavenly. Carrots was flavorful and sweet, they also have pilaf rice, chickpea stew and grilled potatoes to choose from.nnWhile the salad sides were awesome too, love the broccoli salad didn’t know you can eat raw broccoli this way too! chick pea salad w celery and apple carrot slaw just tasted so tangy and great with the meat and hot vege dishes.nnWe opt to bring our food to the lake just right opposite where there are loads of seatings or just like us sit on the grass while soaking in the vibes. Beware of the seagulls and ducks coz they get close to you fast!nHave a gelato ice cream right after it and it is a perfect meal with perfect scenery looking at lake wanaka.
my favorite spot for breakfast, lunch, & dinner! love the variety they serve & how you’re able to choose from the options they have for the day. the food is healthy & delicious, and the people working there are friendly & kind. it’s right by the lakeside, too!
Unique spot known for its seasonal menu that changes daily and delicious slow-cooked food. They have a hot cabinet with various options, you simply choose a plate size and tell them what you want from the hot dishes and fresh salads. Excellent value for the quality of food you get. It’s also great for takeaway, as the packaging is compact and convenient. Loved it!
