Story

Bettys is a one of kind function house and bar situated in Wellington’s Courtenay Quarter. It offers an eclectic mix of hospitality, functionality and innovation. Set within an ever-changing digitally projected environment that can be specifically tailored to any occasion. As an essential venue for the cocktail lounge enthusiast it thrives on being a quirky, little misfit and venturing from the mainstream. Bettys has an awe-inspiring, ever expanding range of concoctions served with impeccable service and good old-fashioned banter. In the later hours, the atmosphere is shaped, molded and mixed by many of Wellingtons most talented DJ’s and producers, along with the resident VJ sculpting the visual experience around you.


Bettys has gained quite a reputation from the success of it’s international act after-parties including A$AP Ferg, Schoolboy Q, Danny Brown and Kaytranada to name a few.

A night dedicated to all things funk, soul, glitch hop, house and breaks brought to you by the funk-daddy himself, BLACKSMITH.

*EASTERN BLOC*
Every third Saturday of the month

Up and coming Wellington producers EASTERN BLOC throw together a blend of jersey club, bounce house and bass music. A new movement not to be missed.

*MI CASA SU CASA*
Last Saturday of every month

Local legends VERNON and BASTION put together the house event of the month, often bringing national and international talent into the mix.
