Absolutely awful service They would not take my concerns about kidney issues seriously. Kept telling me that it was muscular. Wouldn’t give me a face to face appointment. Would only let me see a muscular specialist. Who confirmed it was not muscular. I had to go into A&e to find out it was a kidney infection. They do not listen to your concerns until the problem becomes much worse. The doctor told me I was prescribed antibiotics which I wasn’t. They sent me back and forth from the pharmacy. I was a given an over the phone appointment, which was confirmed by the doctor and receptionist which I never received to discuss my thyroid results. After already waiting almost 2 years for the ultrasound. The standard of this Gp is absolutely atrocious.
Edit 02/01/2024: After years of not being able to get appointment in time and now the added issues of not seeing your doctor face to face with this clinic unless they seem it worth seeing you, join me in lodging formal complaints and ensure that someone in management raises standards. Make your complaints at www.ombudsman.org.uk or call them find the number on their website Your health is important. Take it seriously by taking actions against unfair treatment. Together we can make a difference for our local community.
These receptionists have brought down the standard of the NHS into the like of Indian standard that you see in their states of Bihar and UP! They communicate in Hindi even when their are clients talking to them. Speak English, idiots or go back!
On the morning of the 27th of November 2023 I had blood in my urine, there was a lot of blood. I called my GP to request an appointment and they said that I don't need an appointment I can just drop by and give urine sample. I did just that. The girl at the reception told me I should expect my results within 2 weeks. It is the 28th of Dec 2023 and the results are not out yet. I checked with the medical centre on week 2 of the test, week 3, week 4, month 1. I believe I spoke with the same girl on the phone and each time, she assured me that results usually take 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, then 4 weeks, the over 4 weeks. Apparently thats normal...Finally I asked what the complaint procedure is and she told me "i don't know". Seems like no one knows anything in that place. I filled a complaint form today. Lets see how long it's going to take for this incompetent medical centre to give me some sort of an answer, thats not "I dont know". This is the NHS for you. Incompetent staff, extremely irresponsible and careless. I keep paying my taxes tho. I have no choice.
Literally, they just told me to call 111 if you’re dying otherwise you have to wait over the weekend if you can survive and try to get a consultation chance with a doctor on Monday 8 AM if you are lucky / not full. Even you are lucky to talk / see the doctor on Monday, then you need to wait another 48 hours to get the medicine in the pharmacy if you are lucky that the doctor remembers to press the approved button! My toddler suffers from getting inhaler, myself suffers from getting medicine, and we are told that the doctor forgot to press the Approved button, therefore we cannot get any medicine / prescriptions at the pharmacy!
I had a referral, and after seeing the reviews I was nervous. However... The reviews I've read do not reflect my experience. The staff were pleasant, helpful, and gave me more information than I've come to expect at a doctors appointment. Be patient with the staff, you're ill, you're grumpy, now think of how many grumpy people they have to deal with in a day and yet they still had a smile on their face for me. Yes phones may take time to be answered, but you are NOT the only person calling. In short, they're doing a great job for people with main character syndrome, and are highly underappreciated according to these reviews.
This clinic does not take care of the patients at all. My son has been coughing constantly for about 7 months, and I said to doctors several times, and just two days ago, I found out what happened to my son for a checkup. The doctor spoke to me in a very harsh and rude tone. and she didn't even check up my son and told me that his cough is only due to a virus without examining him. The doctor behavior towards me was so bad that I felt that I had done something bad. When I meet her, I get very nervous about her behavior and all staffs of this gp are very rude
They are seriously dangerous. I have serious asthma problem. I came to get a blue inhaler because it finished and the receptionist said I had to wait for two weeks. I had asthma attacks everyday until the day I could get it. I honestly thought to myself I probably might stop breathing every time I slept and it was really difficult to sleep which caused my mental health to deteriorate. Very dangerous practice. Keep away.
Never register with them, you can never get an appointment and they never treat you like a human being.
Please do not join this doctors surgery. I have asthma and a chest infection couldn't get an appointment I had to ring 111. They told me that this doctors need to give me an appointment the same day as duty of care as this is an emergency. The receptionist on the phone was very rude and snobby as if she's a doctor... Literally trained to sit at a desk. Told me I would have to ring at 8am the next day for an appointment like everyone else... I rang this morning no one is picking up. I will be reporting this practice. Unsatisfactory sevcive all calls are recorded so atleast people can listen to how she was. Please avoid.
