Bayside Bistro is NOT the business that was the subject of the recent Stuff article. The article was a report on the ERA findings about the PREVIOUS owners of a Bayside Eatery. WE own three cafes, are fair employers and are union members ourselves. Please be careful with your comments about an unrelated business and different people.

Great location, but that's all. The owners need to sell, or step away and let professional do the work. Maybe that way they won't end up breaking the law and treating their staff as disposable.

Have been waiting for this place to open and it was worth it. Nicely appointed with lovely view of Snells Beach. Helpful, friendly staff and a good, quite fancy menu think Ponsonby or Parnell. Worth a visit. Great range of different types of ice cream flavours. Looking forward to checking those out too.

Lovely spot by the beach and the recent change of ownership has made a great difference compared to my last visit. Lovely food and great to be able to have a wine or beer with your Sunday lunch.

Great quality meal we enjoyed rack of lamb and an amazing mushrooms in sauce with blue cheese. Staff are friendly and if you can fit in desert it is well worth it

Went with a friend to the newly opened Bayside & had a nice experience three times now. Would prefer the food served with the beverages, muffin heated & served with yoghurt, fork etc but generally very good.
