Story

Wanting to go away over summer but don't want to leave your fluffys in a kennel or cattery? I am a qualified local vet nurse based in Mount Maunganui who also does pet sitting and dog walking. I do short and long term stays in your home at an affordable price in the Papamoa, Mount Maunganui and Tauranga areas. I am confident with most animal species including horses etc. Alonside this I do dog walking and daily feedings if required. My dog loves coming and staying here. The team love dogs and will ensure your dog has a great stay. And if you want your dog to have a bath before they come home they can arrange that too.
Great facilities and my puppy loves it there
Our cat is a regular and is always happy and well looked after. Access is a bit awkward for those with mobility issues.
We were staying only 2 days in the area and had to leave our young dog at Homelands. The staff were so kind and caring and our dog Benji had a great day. When we picked him up he was a very happy and tired dog. Thanks for looking after him so well.
Great staff made u feel relaxed when dropping off our fur babies n kept us informed when I asked how they were doing... our dogs were very happy when we picked them up . We will certainly be using Honelands again ‍ ‍
Great set up and staff go the extra mile to make your fur baby right at home. You can bring you own little creative comforts, bedding, food and toys if you like also which is a great touch. Very well priced for the care and service your receive.
I love this place, the staff are great and our animals were well cared for. Our 1yr old dog goes to doggy day care and he loves it. Our 2yr old cat spent a couple of days there and she too was very happy and contented. I highly recommend this place for day care and over night stays. Thank you for providing a home away from home for our pets.
Was in a bind recently and had to urgently head away for a week. The team welcomed Bo at short notice. She enjoyed her stay to the point she seemed disappointed to come home.
I love how the boarding dogs are treated like doggy day care dogs. They have plenty of room to socialise and aren't kept cooped up all day. Our dog always looks forward to his Homelands holidays, he can barely contain himself when we turn on to Airlie road! Great facilities and fab, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
