Love coming here people are nice service is good, it's always clean when we come In plenty to look at. Should really put a bakery back in there and a cafe would be good
A bit dated and quiet but good source of supermarket supplies
Went to the Countdown. A very depressing looking supermarket, dimly lit, and narrow aisles. I have called in a few times as they do tend to have stocks of products that are sold out in other stores, maybe due to less customers?
Although it was a long wait for our meal it was worth it. Absolutely great and staff very obliging and helpful.
Small and compact but if you are after the essential items them Avonhead Mall has it. Fantastic bookshop and post office along with a pub, chemist , craft store, two hair dressers and a good supermarket. There is also two clothing stores and an amazing florist and gift store. Oh, and not to forget the shoe store, boutique clothing outlet and teal estate agent. Like said, it has a good array of essential businesses. Good parking also on site with two ATMs and post box.
This shopping centre is very calm never busy. I know I can get in and buy the things I need very quickly without too much delay. I'm not a shopper I don't enjoy shopping, for me, if I can get in and out in the shortest space of time I'm a happy man.
The most pieceful, quietest. likable people & staff in Christchurch bar none!! 10/10.
Always a great suburban mall. Best bookshop in Christchurch.
