Great space for a family picnic and great time running around the playground for the children. One down side there's nowhere to buy drinks or snacks so you must bring your own. Food trucks are not always there.
Cool place for kids to play, water park area, swings, climbing area, flying fox. Picnic areas too. Unfortunately not sure if there were enough toilets.
Nice place for kids to do biking and for adults to just rest and relax or read a book in the shade under a tree.
This is the most brilliant facility anyone could wish for a local park. Huge play areas for every age. A wonderful little train that runs weekends and holidays and the road safety training area for learning to ride bikes /scooters etc If only all countries took note of such free facilities. Perfect for a day out if you take a picnic. Plenty of space to run about or just relax.
A beautiful space for family! One big park with lots of choices of activities for family, communities and those interested in spending some time in big, spacious park. Here we can jog, take kids' train, bike, enjoy the playground, play mini golf, rent a boat and row on the lake, gather and have BBQ, and more. It's strategically located in Lower Hutt and has big parking spaces. It is also disability friendly and has complete facilities, including meeting hall and public toilet.
A gorgeous place for everyone... Skating yards, kids' playground...
Cool park, grouse play equipment. I think I was a deprived child, as most kids my age were. We never had anything like this as children. The best thing about the park, was the fact there wasn't a child in site. The Molly coddled little prices were probably at home in front of the computer.
Best playground in the Wellington region. Great equipment for all ages and stages, awesome water play with the stream/fountains and water screws. Heaps of fun for kids. It could be improved by adding shade over the play areas, especially the toddlers/pre schoolers area. And can we have some coffee/ice-cream carts please?!
Such a great place for kids to play and for us to walk around the pathways with all the lovely well kept trees and lawns. Always need your dog on a lead so it good when everyone follows that rule.
This is best park for a day picnic for kids. There are most of free rides for kids. Bring your own food and drinks as there is not any store near by. don't forgot to enjoy $2 train ride. Good parking facilities available.
