Beware of this reckless driver driving HWE325, an indian guy wearing black turban. Turning left abruptly without signalling. I don’t know how did this driver got his drivers license. I hope the management will be more selective on hiring courteous road user driver.
These guys are fantastic. I have used them on a number of occasions now and they have never let me down. They are always on time and even when my plane got changed and delayed they were still there to collect me at the right time. Fantastic service, will always use them when travelling around Auckland. Highly recommended
Used these guys twice for what you would call longer trips $300+ fairs when visiting from AU. Saw their terrible reviews but went with them anyway. We were travelling with 5 people and lots of large, heavy baggage. Both trips were perfect. Great humour, punctual and professional. Nothing was a hassle. Will use them again.
Rang from Mt Smart stadium after the Elton John concert got cancelled to see if we could get a taxi from there to Glen Eden and the guy who answered the phone yelled " No we're not going there. You have to walk" and hung up on us. We're not from Auckland so not sure if they just run out of certain suburbs or if it was due to the roads starting to flood but there was no need to speak in that manor. Could have politely explained that it wasn't possible- or even recommended one of the other company's to call. Had rung your number first as it had come up on the top of the list when we googled Auckland Taxis', definitely wont be making that mistake again.
Great service, friendly call centre staff, Web app easy to use.. The taxi drivers were polite and well presented, drove seamlessly through the Auckland traffic jungle and the taxis were very clean as well. Good service all round.. it's a bigfrom a couple of aussie tourists.
Booked a taxi for ride from an event recently. Called them the day before to confirm it was all happening, after reading all the bad reviews I was unsure. I then called the day of the event, I called to see if the taxi could come 30mins earlier. The guy told me the taxi would not even be coming as it was too far. After they confirmed they could drive us, both on the website, and a previous phone call. If I didn't call to change the times, we would have been stranded at midnight in the middle of nowhere. Terrible and unreliable system and communication. Do not rely on this company or you will be let down.
I usually would use Uber to pick me up to go to Church every Sunday but today I couldn't get Uber so I relied on a taxi. I searched up and heard they accepted credit cards which was fine for me. In their glory days they were one of the best taxi services in Auckland. High quality drivers, great service and punctual. Their cars were always great and no doubt a lot of people would remember their good days. But not today. I ordered a taxi at 9:35 am to get me to Church as I needed to be on time. I called and the operator was lovely. I waited and waited, and then called back and they told me they were on Boundary Road in New Windsor. I waited again it got to 10:00 am and received a call from a random number saying they were going to come in 2 mins. This was absolutely unprofessional. I wouldn't order from them again. No sense of punctuality or service and I agree with other people's reviews on them.
Have had consistently terrible experiences with this company. Having to wait for long periods of time after calling to confirm the taxi was coming and being told that it was “only a few minutes away”. I live in central Auckland so it’s not a remote location. Also a lot more expensive than Uber.
We preordered a taxis van for a pick up the following day at 4.45pm to ensure we got to our destination on time. On their website it states if a van is not available cabs will be sent. Come 4.45pm the next day no pick up arrived. As it was getting late, I phoned them and was told there were no vehicles available. I TRIED to explain we had prebooked a vehicle to avoid this situation so how could this be, but every time I started my sentence the operator kept over talking me, in fact he was outright rude and didn’t care one iota about good customer service and nor do this organisation, which explains the behaviour I was experiencing. Co-op taxis SHAME ON YOU! Happy to say Uber saved the day.
I came into Auckland International Airport on a very early morning flight and tried to get a cab off the rank. One after another they threw my bags back at me literally when they learned my destination was only 10 minutes away. One almost ran me over trying to get a better fare. I have made an official complaint as I think this is disgraceful conduct, and as it happened 4 times in a row, it's clearly well entrenched behaviour. Coop Taxi's and Auckland Airport need some quality control and stop this happening! No wonder more and more people are using Uber!
