Atawhai Beachcomber Resort

Wasn’t bad, the view was nice, the room was cute, we got the Ocean view studio and went as a couple. The bed wasn’t up to par, I couldn’t really sleep, the water pressure there is amazing though, better then the Meriton in my opinion. The room itself though was filthy.

Beautiful spot and lots of different foods to choose near by. Friendly staff and very helpful. Highly recommended this place to you guys.

Carpet had burns in it, shower door only had one door the other was missing, the aircon had mould through it, the couch had rips all over it. They didn’t give fresh towels, mould in the bathroom. This place needs a upgrade massively!

Not impressed with how this resort has handled a global pandemic. Boarders are closed and Beachcomber refuses to offer refunds or even partial refunds to people who have spent thousands on accommodation they will never get/have. The only hotel in QLD that wont refund patrons under circumstances totally beyond their control.
