I was looking for the possum skin since we found out that possum is bad for New Zealand environment.nThen we found this cozy store run by gentle ladies.nThe store have nice goods for hand made lovers and some other good quality local hand made goods.nSo glad to have visited here~
Tried to buy several things but the shop just didn't have the stock and/or isn't in touch with the modern knitter. No knitting needle cases/holders, no 4ply womens patterns, not a big range of 4ply at all. No knitting bowls, no needle ends, no stitch markers. And to be honest not a great range of wool or colours :
Ordered online lunchtime yesterday and it arrived early this morning in rural Horowhenua. Lovely friendly and knowing staff, and their Needle Felting kits and fibre are great value and quality
Always love it when I have time to spend in Ashford. If you love knitting it's a must. Very hard not to buy something. In my case, a jersey lot of beautiful double knit wool for just on $100! Excellent quality and price.
Always a lovely place to stop off for craft supplies.nGreat range of yarns. Highly recommend checking them out.
