Story

I aim to make something a little bit different, colourful and fun.
My art is generally fabric based and ranges in size. I create mixed media covered journals and visual diaries, fabric coil bowls, mailable art (fabric postcards) and more.
Having started out as a quilter, I have progressed into the textile art field and enjoy working with a range of surface design techniques, including monoprinting, rust dyeing, shibori and hand dyeing, hand stitching, collage and other mixed media techniques. I have exhibited at the Art Show in Wellington and at the Nelson Art Expo as well as the Left Bank Art Gallery in Greymouth. Unique and exciting works of mine can now also be viewed at the gallery Art@203 (203 Trafalgar St, Nelson).
