Cannot speak highly enough of these guys. I flew into Christchurch for a bike packing holiday and they had a great selection of reasonably priced bikes. They modified one for me overnight and were set to buy it back at the end of my holiday. Unfortunately it was stolen the night before I was going to set off, and Around Again Cycles was so generous - they gave me a deal on another bike and got it all set up in a couple of hours so that I could start my trip that evening. Made some great memories on that bike. Highly recommend Around Again Cycles for purchasing/renting/servicing, they're fast, capable, well priced, and just the nicest guys around.
I was visiting Christchurch from San Francisco and intended to ride into the Port Hills for a day. I found Around Again Cycles on Google Maps. I liked the store concept - giving bikes a second lease of life and augmenting income by renting the used bikes for sale.nnI contacted them via email on their website, to which they were responsive. I stopped by the shop, and they fitted me with a great road bike, shoes, and a helmet. All for a great price with the option to return to bike the following day if I ran late.nnI had a great ride up Dyers Pass Rd to Sign of the Kiwi Cafe, across Summit Rd to Transmitter Station, down Gebbles Pass Rd to Lyttelton, then to Sumner Beach. Tip for tourists: Do have the date scones at the Cafe, and don't ride through the SH74 tunnel in Lyttelton! When I returned the bike, I bought pedals and shoes for a fair price.
Every time we come here, the service is excellent, the pricing is so good and one of the guys there really helped me out with my kid’s bike - was so kind to me!! Will only ever use this bike shop!
Excellent service from the man at the counter, excellent range of bikes and good prices, I walked out with a brand new e bike -helmet and D bolt...I'm happy as Larry thank you so much.
Super happy with the bikes we got for the price we payed, and the service was super fast and good as well! Since we are european people, they also switched side of the brake levers, as well as preparing the bike with additional pannier and other extra stuff. This was made during the day and we were able to pick up the bikes later this afternoon.nnAll in all, would highly recommend this shop, specifically if you want good cheap bikes for a holiday trip!
