I started going to Ben’s class at The Old School House at the beginning of 2022. I was initially nervous, having never tried Yin Yoga before, but Ben was very welcoming and the environment was so calming that I was immediately at ease. The venue is lovely and Ben is an excellent teacher - always helpful and supportive. I have left every class feeling positive, calm and grounded. Thank you, Ben.
Beautiful yoga class - if you are feeling sluggish after sitting all day this class is the one! Ben is a fantastic teacher - really patient, creates a calming environment and has exercises that are suitable for all abilities - can't wait for the next class!

I loved my experience with Aroha Yoga! Ben's class offers grounding and gentle yoga poses in a nurturing space. Fleece blankets are provided, which is ideal for people like me who love to keep warm and cosy during a meditative yoga practice! A de-stressing mind/body tonic for anyone who struggles with a busy brain and monkey-mind chatter!
This was my first experience of yin yoga but certainly not my last. The poses have just right level of challenge but also allow for great, meditative relaxation. I felt really relaxed for the rest of the day and that is no mean feat with me. Everything is provided and the instruction is clear and calm. Loved it. See you again soon!

Ben’s guidance through the session and choice of location for the class is amazing. The moves are very gentle but it definitely does the job. It relaxes my muscles and prepares my stiff body for a busy week. It’s now my favourite Sunday activity.
