I have stayed here twice and as a motel manager this motel deserves a 5 star. Clean and fresh. The staff Emma and taho sorry for my spelling were so attentive and willing to accommodate us lovely to see staff interact in this way. They even rushed out to give us the things I left behind. John you have a great place and a wonderful team also the receptionist was very good too. This is a motel my daughter booked for us initially so this is my go to place. Conveniently close walkable to the hospital. Dairy and food places just along the road. The amenities were perfect but I dont like cooking at home so i certainly dont cook when staying at motels lol. Thank you will be back hopefully for holiday next time.
My mum stayed here for 6 days while I had neurosurgery at Waikato and I stayed for 2 nights after being discharged. The room was absolutely beautiful and the whole team were so lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so mich for making a rough time absolutely comfortable and welcoming.
I had cause to be at the hospital for two nights 21/22 April 2026. I was so impressed with the service, my arrival was later in the evening and by the time I got there the heating was on, the lamps were alight and a pleasant wish for a good night.nThe room was excellent, separate bedroom with large comfortable bed, big bathroom with bath. Dining table and chairs and all other amenities I required.nI would absolutely stay at the Argent Lodge in Hamilton again.
We stayed one night at Argent Motor Lodge as my husband had a procedure the next day at Braemar Hospital. We received a warm welcome and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a lovely 1 bedroom unit upstairs. The unit was spotlessly clean, the location to Braemar was only 400 metres. We highly recommend this lovely Motor Lodge.
We stayed here for a night. The room was honestly great. Great size, great service and everything. However there were mosquitoes in the bathroom and I woke up to them biting in the middle of the night. So unless that happened I would have honestly given the place a 5 star rating. Loved the interaction with the owner. Highly recommend for its closeness to everything.
