Arena Cafe

Great cheese scones. My son and I always stop in after kindy gym. Note: we went last week and the recipe had the addition of mustard seeds. This is NOT nice. Please revert to old amazing recipe. Otherwise you lose my weekly custom.

Used to be our go to for weekend brunch. However, they sell Grabone vouchers but does not seem too happy when you try to redeem one. They advertise on Grab one that full menu is available but lately have printed off a cut down version for Grab one. Just last week we were told we need to make a booking and wouldn't serve us even though the cafe was more than half empty. Grab one conditions clearly say bookings recommended not essential. Also, the lady I assume is the owner hardly smiles and seems grumpy...wonder whether the vouchers put her off even though we always buy other things and coffees + extra for our daughter. Don't think I will visit again or buy another voucher. After all, there are plenty of great cafes that are more than happy to honor their vouchers with a smile and the same service.

Got a grab one deal,when we got there to a empty restaurant was told grabones needed to book????then was given a special grabone menu????thats not how grabone works ,meal was less than value for money even at the grabone price,wont be back

I go here about once a week. The food is good with reasonable prices and quantity. The staff are nice and friendly as well.

The cafe is ok but a year ago I got a chocolaye milkshake and it had chunks of banana in it. This was frankly disgusting.

Today was the 2nd time there where we spent 20 minutes in line to be told there would be a 50 minute wait for food from the kitchen. Maybe put up a sign?

Nice coffee and cake selection. No kids area anymore which is pretty stink.
