Anatoki Salmon Farm

We caught and ate our own salmon here. What a great place to visit. We stayed the night with out motorhome free overnight camping and then did some fishing in the morning. Great food and fantastic Dutch owners as well.

What an amazing place and an awesome experience! Spent about 2 hours and we had 2 kids under 5 that were kept busy with the play area and feeding the eels and meeting the animals. Hubby caught a salmon and the chef then smoked it to perfection! Definitely recommend

Have always enjoyed visiting the salmon farm but was rather disappointed this time. sadly left with no fish, was fishing for over two hours. Watching others there was only about 4 fish caught during this time and the talk around the pond was not complimentary either. Due to no fish didn't end up spend any money at the Cafe.

Caught a fish. Killed it. Then they smoke it. Enjoy a beer whilst you recover emotionally from that or maybe you're mentally stronger than me and don't need that but you can still enjoy a drink. Also looked like a solid menu and set in a pretty location. Staff super helpful

Great location, worth the slight detour. Recommend wearing pants along the fishing area as there were sandflies around when we went. If you're lucky enough to catch the salmon, the natural smoke flavour option was delicious! Petting zoo is also not to be missed if you've never seen a kunekune pig
