Story

Amika is situated in the heart of Takaka, Golden Bay , opposite the iconic " Wholemeal Cafe". With its big warm red front, it is a beautiful welcoming sight.
AMIKA boasts an amazing variety of beautiful home wares/decor and fabrics from Bali and Thailand, as well as a fantastic variety of jewellery, fairy lights, and clothing which includes alot of my (Sarah Manson) own unique designs..My winter range of cosy merino/wool/fleece are created right here in the bay, and my summer range is created in bali by a small lovely bunch of locals (-:
Amika is a delight to the senses, with lots of colour, great music,smells, and service..(-: so if you are in the area, come and check out my shop!

Amika also supports two animal welfare organisations - "Elephant Nature Park" in Thailand which rescues elephants from logging, trekking, and circus performing, ad gives them a life of total respect and freedom..
BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association) rescues, treats and adopts out animals in Bali..There are donation boxes at the shop and Amika also donates dollar for dollar from these boxes..So when you shop here, you are also supporting some great causes!
