Located in beautiful olive groves and native gardens the newly opened Bistro Allpress is a great addition to the island’s cafes and restaurants. We were there for brunch - our party chose the flounder and lamb neck. Beautifully presented and delicious. Those crispy, roasted potatoes were to die for. Sides of salad and greens were equally good. Apparently the pizzas are great too.nLooking forward to working our way through the menu!
Everything was just just perfect.nThe homemade cocktails were so fresh, balanced and delicious.nWe tried most of the dishes on the menu and we couldn’t fault a single one - they were all superb.nService was equally good - attentive, fast and professional.n11 out of 10!
A fabulous casual dining experience in both tranquil and relaxed surroundings. A quite lovely location overlooking beautiful native bush gardens and olive groves with stunning floating steps up to the entrance. And the food did not disappoint! Plates are designed to share and all the food was well presented and delicious. I particularly liked the buffalo curd with roasted heirloom tomatoes and the Trevelley Escabeche was excellent. The rotisserie chicken was next level too.nService was warm and welcoming and attentive. 10 out of 10!
We’re very excited about the Bistro. We have a bach in Rocky Bay, so it’s nice to get another ‘local’ place to eat in addition to the awesome Rocky Bay Cafe. 5 of us went to the Bistro for brunch yesterday. Lovely fit-out. Stylish but relaxed. All of the food was delicious. And a nice touch to provide free excellent olive oil for the table - plenty of that went over my mixed plate of egg, avocado, prosciutto, cheese, sourdough etc. Yum! Service was very friendly and very efficient - nice to see it so well staffed. We’re already looking forward to going back - those wood fired pizzas look particularly tasty! And the big outdoor fire they are building should be great in the Winter.nnGreat work Team nnP.s. it’s very dog friendly, if you were thinking about taking your pooch with you
Sensational location, high quality fit out, relaxed mediterranean vibe, food was perfect, service friendly and efficient, atmosphere chilled, beverages on point. What an amazing addition to the Island eateries. A must go!
