We stumbled upon this hidden gem on our walk to Mudbrick Vineyard; it turned out to be one of the highlights of our New Zealand trip. Aside from the stunning scenery, the staff were incredibly warm and knowledgeable, sharing insights about the olive oils that made the tasting thoroughly engaging. We were blown away by the quality – the olive oils were hands down the best we've ever tried, so much so that we couldn’t leave without grabbing at least three bottles to take back to Melbourne!
A wonderful delightful place in a beautiful island. It was fun to go and see young olives growing on the trees and then to taste the different olive oils and products at the Allpress Olive groves. It is a learning experience. The girls are so knowledgeable and offer so much information. The oils are all good but the honey and the pesto are just amazing.
We really enjoyed this experience. About an hour and get to try and few olive oils and honey. Very knowledgable and friendly young lady who talked us through. A great and inexpensive thing to do before or after you head up to Mud Brick.
We had an incredible olive oil tasting experience with Julia at the olive grove! She was so knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging—her insights into the different oils, how they’re made, and what to look for were fascinating. We learned so much and left with a deeper appreciation for quality olive oil and a few bottles to take home!. Julia truly made the experience memorable—highly recommend!
