Located on the beautiful property that once produced the popular Selaks Wine, Allely Estate provides a picturesque setting and palpable country atmosphere.

Story

Stunning landscaped gardens and a spectacular Marquee has Allely Estate in a class of its own while the Villa function rooms supply stately style and intimate ambience all just 15 minutes from the city.

From relaxed cocktails in the garden to fully catered celebrations in the Villa to a supreme event in our unique show stopping Marquee, Allely Estate has a wealth of resources to suit your event.

It is the Allely Estate Marquee that really sets this beautiful venue apart from any other. Only just completed it is the only one of its kind in Auckland.


Showcasing an extraordinary domed roof, six meter ceiling displaying wrought iron chandeliers, smooth Astroturf flooring, removable clear sides and set among mature trees and spacious gardens, Allely Estate is the ideal outdoor venue for all seasons.

The Marquee can accomodate up to 250 for a seated dinner reception or 400 for a Cocktail event.

The Allely Estate Marquee is unique, offering you an incredible opportunity to provide you and your guests an unforgettable experience.

In its rural setting, surrounded by vineyards and orchards Allely Estate stands proud with landscaped grounds and groomed gardens. Stroll along hedge lined paths, listen to the sounds of the water feature, reflect under the pergola, enjoy the shade of the Magnolias, Allely Estate has beautiful diverse settings for your Wedding, Celebration or Event.

Many areas in the garden provide a picturesque stage for nuptials and the perfect common area for mingling and photography. Bridal photos are often taken onsite with stunning photographic opportunities allowing the newly married couple more time to celebrate with their guests.

Lighting throughout the property provides a beautiful ambience at night. Fairy lights in the Gleditsia tree centred in the garden between the Villa and the Marquee is a spectacle to behold.

There is no limit to the number that can be accommodated in the gardens.

Allely Estate and the staff are outstanding. We had our wedding here and it was spectacular. The gardens were immaculate, the staff were so helpful and the plated menu was amazing massive portions!. The venue coordinator Athina was awesome, whatever you want, she’s on it straight away. Overall, best experience and I recommend you book Allely Estate. They talk big game and they deliver on it 110%
We just attended a wedding at the Allely Estate. What an amazing venue! Beautifully maintained gardens, this charming place just oozed serenity and romance. Definitely a perfect venue for weddings and events of similar nature. Staff members were pleasant and friendly but appeared young and inexperienced. Despite their best efforts, service fell a bit short. As for the food, our event was a sit-down dinner. Even though all the dishes were nicely flavored, I found dinner to be disappointing! The duck breast was perfectly cooked but the fish was overcooked; the pork belly was not crispy crackling like it’s name suggested; and the beef short rib appeared to have gone through a nuclear explosion because it was SO tough that short of getting my hands on a saw, I was unable to cut it, let alone chew it. The vegetarian dishes were much better! With all that being said, we were there to attend a wedding and not for dinner, so we still had an enjoyable evening!
What a wonderful evening, fantastic service, and outstanding food. The perfect date night for my partner and myself. We had a lovely evening and highly recommend coming out on a Friday for the 3 course dinner. Intimate and private, just perfect! :
Wow wow wow .. what a great Bottomless brunch at Allely Estate today with the Queens! If all my Sundays were like this I’d be so much more into starting Mondays. A shout out to the team at Allely Estate and their entertainers - my jaw is still sore from laughing. To my crew from South Auckland who came all this way - you gals rock!! And to the kitchen staff at Allely Estate the cuisine was divinely incredible …. Nothing like flowing mmmmm yummm bubbles for 2 hours, delicious food, amaze-balls entertainers and a great vibe from the team at Allely Estate .. bring on the next event!!
It was the perfect spring garden wedding. The heavens smiled upon us and offered us a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon to have our outdoor wedding. The staff were so helpful, and unobtrusive. They knew the best times to check in on us, offer us water to remind us to keep hydrated in our busy times and platters of appetizers in the bridal room while we were catching our breath before our wedding dance. We were on schedule the whole time and everything was well-organised. The guests wouldn't stop gushing about the venue, food and service. Thank you Allely Estate staff for making our wedding so memorable. We will be definitely recommending your venue for any future events or functions.
I attended my nephew's wedding. Everything went according to plan! Overall Experience: Bland. It's like we were in a time warp ... Food & Dessert : Service : Lacked empathy. Parking: Limited parking ,,, Stuff : Unfriendliness & lacked empathy. Atmosphere : Cold. Allely Estate : Venues like this are great for summer weddings and special occasions ... Cost : Expensive!
We photograph weddings at Allely quite a lot and it's one of our favourite venues! The food, scenery and the team are amazing. Highly recommend!
Attended a wedding of the daughter of family friend. Such good venue. Delicious canapes, even delicious lunch with 3 choices of veg, lamb, chicken wrapped with feta and spinach, white fish stuffed with prawns and a salmon dish. Very friendly waiters and beautiful garden.
Lovely place with great food, staff were very kind and knowledgeable, my partner and I had a really good experience and night together. Would highly recommend this place for a great date night location for a romantic dinner!!
My husband and I spent alot of money and got married at Allely Estate in December 2022 and had an awful experience with the wedding coordinator. The staff on the day were absolutely lovely though but it still does not make up for the stress experienced due to one staff member. After the deposit payment, the wedding coordinator turned up an hour late to the in-person venue tour and did many no shows to the rehearsal day before the wedding and all the meetings leading up to the day. Emails were sent to the coordinator on many occasions and responses would come back 1-2 weeks later. We also paid $391.30 excluding GST for a backdrop in the marquee with "Mr & Mrs _______" and the wedding coordinator initially stated that she would send font options but ended up ignoring all my follow-up emails/ text messages requesting for the fonts and chose what was most convenient for her. Unfortunately the backdrop looked nothing like what we had discussed and we were not satisfied with what was chosen by the coordinator without consultation with us. A complaint letter was sent to the owner of the venue and the complaint was acknowledged and resolved with a phone call.
