I was just two weeks ago in this city and I chose this bar to have a quiet beer. The place is very nice and the waiter is very friendly. I had an issue with my credit card payment, which I realized when I returned to Madrid, and they resolved the issue immediately. I feel very grateful and happy to see that there are very good people left in the world. Great team!

Located on a historic and popular square Vrijdagmarkt and I believe a sister bar to Café VenTura next door. Full patios on a sunny day, found a good IPA draft, cake and snacks only, small dining area inside. Order at the bar via QR Scan code and table #.

To order you have to scan a QR code. There you can view the menu and then order directly. To do this you have to log in with either your Facebook or Google account. You also have to pay directly online. But this is only possible via Belgian cards. Payment with foreign credit cards, Paypal, Applepay etc. is not possible. After trying to order and pay online for 15 minutes, we ended up having to order from the waiter. And all just to drink a beer.

Order via QR code, nothing after fifteen minutes even though it is not busy. Staff are chatting inside and even doubt that we have been waiting for a long time. Lemonade is not the one we ordered, they have pilsner and devil glasses, the rest of the beers come in a fine and too small wine glass. Generic glasses not too much to ask... It was stupid to tip for the service.

Nice place for a beer in the early evening on the sunny terrace. Convenient ordering and payment with QR code via Orderbilly. Nice choice of beers. I recommend the Ouwen Duiker, one of my personal favorites. Parking: Large underground parking under the Vrijdagmarkt.

Yes, together with Café Ventura it is a very pleasant place where you often meet acquaintances. And the sun, when it shines, lingers on the terrace for a long time. A side note though. The fact that I have to add water to the coffee myself, mix the lemonade syrup with a straw that is too weak for this and cut the cheese myself detracts from my idea of ​​caring service. Furthermore, big compliments for this successful place.

Waiting fifteen minutes for an underdeserved beer. 20cl instead of 25cl. In beer country it's not very professional especially when the waitress refuses to upgrade the beer.
