Albany Junior High School

I strongly advise you not to send your child to this school. I am in the ninth grade at AJHS. I feel very sad about the seventh and eighth graders in this school. Students who yell and shout, touch other people's things at will, etc. are all things that students in the seventh and eighth grades can do. They are so childish that they even play some strange sound effects and music in class. Bullying and discrimination are also very serious. If I have any other choice, I really hate this school.

This school only prioritizes students who excel academically or athletically. Children with behavioral or learning difficulties are marginalized and often treated unfairly. The teachers are frequently frustrated and resort to sending students to the deans for minor issues instead of addressing them directly. If your child isn't a top performer, they will struggle to find support and opportunities here. Consider other options if your child doesn't fit this narrow mold.

one the last day my friend got a belly button pierced by some stoner, that was the only good thing that happened therenthis school is not very sigma *puts hands in pockets and kicks a stone on the ground in frustration*

So many sports and educational opportunities that no other schools offer only bad thing is the tuck shop prices

I went to this school for years 7, 8 and 9. there are some nice teachers but a vast majority are just angry 247. facilities are not good either. the school is also money hungry all the time because as soon as they get money they spend it on stuff that the school does not need. There is also a huge bullying problem at this school. when ever you tell a teacher about it nothing ever happens yet they claim that bulling gets stamped out very quickly even though it doesn't. There new PB4L thingy sucks because now when ever your at school the teachers don't stop telling everybody about it. If your wondering why the school is rated so high its because all of the 5 star reviews are from teachers. From personal experience I would not recommend sending your kids here.
