Alan's Barber Shop

I am writing this review after my 4th visit to Alan’s Barber and I have to say this is the best Barber shop in South Auckland. Every cut is done with patience and care. Both Barbers are great and take pride in the work they do. They are also great with little kids. After trying so many other Barbershops which were really average I am glad I have found this shop. Highly recommend this shop to all.

Sahir, the owner cuts my hair with perfection everytime. Even uses the old style razor around my sidebars and neck. Making an appointment is a must if you dont have time to wait.

Lipo had cut my sons hair for 3 years before we moved out of Auckland. Highly recommend Alan's and especially Lipo. Immaculate cuts, great with kids and professional service. We definitely miss Lipo's cuts and haven't found a barber that compares yet.

Sahir the owner is a skilful barber and his staff are as attentive. Alipo in particular is a caring person. I've been going there for the past 7 years and very happy with the haircuts I get from them.

My go to Barber Shop since 2017 when I moved to Auckland for study. They are centrally located in Onehunga which means they are easy to get to. Typically visiting every 2-3 months for consistent haircuts with a fine attention to detail. There are usually 3 Barbers working when I visit which means wait times aren't too long. They all have great skills and are very personable. These things make it hard to consider going to find other Barbers, so let the reviews speak for themselves and see for yourself.

Barbers are very good here, only two so there can be a wait. However couch is very comfortable and music is relaxing old school blues, Soul and rock. I get my beard trimmed which is done to a high standard, nice shave with a cut throat razer. Hair cut also excellent, been here twice now and think I have found my new barber

Visited here today thinking I will get that really good carefully cut haircut, but was left very disappointed. Unfortunately, they are more concerned with finishing on time and not worrying about the customer. I asked for fade trim and short on top. I didn't get that but a rushed cut so they can get the next customer in and finish work, not cutting much on top. I noticed the boss pulled aside my barber to hurry up and finish up early. These guys used to take pride a year or so back, and were one of my favourite barbers in Auckland. Take care with customers or else you will lose out.

Been coming here for a long time now and the haircuts are amazing! The barbers are really talented and take their time to perfect the style you're wanting. I usually don't write reviews but this place is just that awesome! 10/10.
