The hotel has a great location, a wonderful sized jacuzzi, a nice gift in the form of juice in the fridge. It may not be a very convenient location for a children's room without a door and a common window to the living room. There was coffee, but no coffee maker in the kitchen. Everything else was great and thanks to the owners.Rooms: 4/5
Loved the overnight stay. The view was amazing!! We were able to watch the planes take off and land at the airport, the room seemed to be soundproof so we didn't have any issues with loud noise from the airport. We had a window open and listened to the waves crashing at the beach during the night, it couldn't had been better. The complimentary drinks at check-in was a lovely welcome. There is retail hub is next door and supermarket a 20 min walk away but there is a bus that you can catch. A few minutes drive to the airport. Room was clean and tidy with a spa. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat.
Good location if you arrive late at night. Friendly staff and we got a complimentary drink which was a nice gesture! Also need to mention the Chromecast which is awesome if you have subscription services! Only downside was the noise as you can hear other other people around the premises.
Just booked a little studio to sleep in after our late arrival flying into Wellington. The room was clean and tidy with everything you could need. Communication was excellent and made everything go seamlessly. Reasonable price too, booked straight off the website.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed here for one night as we had an early flight. I own a cleaning business so always rate cleanliness. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard. Very quiet and the bed was comfortable.Rooms: 5/5
Myself and kids stayed for 6 nights and it was great, excellent location, yum fish and chips around the corner, beach across the road, bus stops down the road, beds were comfy, room was cosy, spa bath, complimentary drinks on arrival, house keeping daily, yum biscuits too. Thanks for a great stay, we enjoyed it.
Receptionist was a very nice lady and gave us complementary drinks. Unfortunately there were strands of either blonde hair or dog fur on the bedsheets which caused my allergies to go wild. The rooms are rather small, and not clean enough to write about.Rooms: 3/5
Very outdated motel. There is no breakfast or meals provided. Room was unclean, stains on the bed spread. Hair in the spa. Room cleaning was an after thought, blankets were just pulled back, bed not made, floors not vacuumed. Room had no ventilation and was extremely humid and hot with no air conditioning, bathroom had no exhaust. Very over priced for what you get.
The room is tidy, but I'm not sure about cleanness. The bedding, especially doona, looks not so clean as I found animal hair on doona. But the view is best. I booked for transferring flights for 12 hrs. Very close to the airport.Rooms: 1/5
Better than I expected, though the price abit too high for the location and room size. But staying here would still be a good deal considering the hotels in Wellington are so expensive. The building may look unconvincing from outside but the inside is way better. The actual room was also better that the photos. The room was clean enough and had everything you need. The staff was so welcoming and provided us with some welcome drinks. Another great thing is that there is a beach right across the street. In the room, you'll have a microwave, cutleries, crockeries, kettle, toaster, knife, cutting board, peeler, TV with netflix and youtube.
