We had our elopement wedding at Brackenridge last march, everything was so perfect, better than anything we imagined. Courtnay is amazing, she took care of every detail, supporting us and advising with everything, considering that our wedding day was a challenging rainy and windy day. Everything worked well. Brackenridge made our biggest dream to come true, our happiest day ever. The cottage was amazing and comfortable, the bouquet, cake, the food after wedding, bride make up, photographer, celebrant and everything in the package was incredible. We have no words to say thank you enough .
We were staying with our teenagers who appreciated the gym. We stayed in cottage seven which was nice and spacious - the beds very comfortable and we enjoyed the open fire in the evenings when it was chilly. On the negative: The carpet was quite worn, the fridge seals were not working so the fridge had to work hard 24/7, the dishwasher was old with rusty trays which were difficult to move, plus the door hinges were broken so the door fell down very fast and heavy when it was opened. This is a health and safety issue. I let the Brackenridge team know so hopefully these maintenance issues get fixed quickly.
Spa treatments were amazing. Professional, friendly and expert services provided. Beautiful setting, top quality products and refreshments were a delightful touch. I left feeling pampered and would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Couldn't have asked for a better venue than Brackenridge for our wedding in January. Courtnay and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan and our guests have not stopped raving about how it. The cottages were also very comfortable to get ready in and was great to be able to have our guests staying on-site. Thank you again Courtnay. Look forward to coming back for a weekend getaway!
My wife and I recently had our wedding at Brackenridge. Courtenay, Sue and the whole team really went out of their way to make the day super special and smooth. The on site accommodation is perfect and all of our guests commented on how nice it was and the welcome amenities and breakfast food was a lovely surprise. The venue is great and the outside area for our ceremony is neat, tidy and well maintained. We viewed 3 wedding venues all of similar price but when we viewed Brackenridge we knew straight away it was the venue for us. If you are thinking of booking it for your big day I would say do it! All our vendors knew the venue well and you can tell that everyone enjoys going there. Thanks again team for everything! We’ll be sure to visit for a massage next time we are in town.
We got married at Brackenridge this year. It was such a fabulous venue! Having stayed there previously, we knew the rooms were wonderful with so many little extras like local eggs and fresh bread. We weren’t actually staying here on this occasion, but the majority of the venue was taken by our guests from out of town and country. They did not disappoint! As for our experience, Courtnay and the team were so organised and diligent, we felt we could totally relax and enjoy our wedding to the full extent : what you don’t always realise when looking for a venue, is that having someone there who will manage the day and turn your vision into a reality for you is priceless. Courtnay was an absolute gift and we cannot thank her and the team enough. I cannot recommend Brackenridge highly enough whether it be for weddings, other events or just a mini break. We will definitely be back.

Five of us had our make-up done for a wedding recently at the Brackenridge spa. We had such a lovely time and the atmosphere, friendliness and results were 10/10. Highly recommend this wonderful team x

Stayed here for our mini honeymoon last week. Such a cosy beautiful stay . Loved the open fire and the bed was so comfy. Cannot recommend this place enough Rooms: Stunning well thought out setup
