A 75 metre walk to the camp site. It has limited cell phone, no electricity, is a private, sunny, sheltered campsite. Your own bush ensuite ablution block with a hot shower/flush toilet. Laundry Service by arrangement (Your little one can cry without you worrying about the neighbours being woken up!). In extreme weather we can arrange emergency shelter. Suit (light weight) campers, a small group, families. Courtesy wheelbarrow available. Walking distance to Pohara Beach (600 metres safe swimming), Pohara General Store, Cafe's & Restaurants, Onetahua Marae, Tarakohe Port, Tennis court. Convenient to Takaka (10kms), Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, Farewell Spit, Reserves and day walks, tramping, caving, rock climbing, boating, fishing, golf, bowls and local arts and cultural activities. Bus service to Pohara - Golden Bay Coachlines. We can take persons per night. The rate is $16 per person per night. Children under 2 free. Advance booking required.
