A medium size airport. Very well managed and maintained. Smart design and layout. Clean. Bright, Good ambience. Clear signs everywhere. Information desks. Efficient security, customs and immigration staff and facilities. Restaurants and Cafe's, lounges, children play areas, duty free, convenience stores, local handicrafts, travel accessories, and much more

Take a Tram ride around Christchurch city New Zealand. Hop on and off all day for only $30 NZ. Great value and a great way to see the city. Still a lot of rebuild to do after an earthquake some years ago but the heart of this city is beating strong!! My home town so a bit bias. Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop, and don't start me on the scenery.

Christchurch Airport is the main airport that serves Christchurch, New Zealand. It is located 12 kilometres 7.5 mi to the northwest of the city centre, in the suburb of Harewood. Christchurch Harewood Airport is New Zealand's first international airport. It is the second busiest airport in New Zealand, after Auckland, by both annual passengers and aircraft movements. Christchurch and Auckland are the only airports in New Zealand that regularly handle Boeing 747 and Airbus A380 aircraft. The airport is curfew free, operating 24 hours a day.

The drop off area at the airport is decently sized. I was able to repack the bags there before heading into the terminal. The terminal itself ws fairly easy to get around even though it was fairly big. It was only for a domestic flight. There were quite a few table with chargers and plugs which was handy for electronic devices. The airport also did have free wifi.

Nice airport.  Landed in the evening and very quiet.  We were the last flight to land for the night.  All the shops were closed.  Nice light display.  Beautiful airport.  Neat and tidy.

A beautiful retirement village.  Lovely staff. Very well appointed resthome and villas.  Wide corridors.  Well sign posted making it easier to find where you're going.  Many different things to do at this facility.  The gardens are very well manicured making it feel very welcoming.  Easy to find a seating area in the shade to sit and admire the plants and trees. If you enjoy plane spotting there are a few places where you can get a good close look or a photo.  Enjoy

Very nice, clean' fresh food and very good service 'friendly staff if you need any help or direction on where to be, there is always someone that can assist you.

Spacious and spotleslesly clean.  It is very welcoming and a fitting  representation of how beautiful the South Island is. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Easy to navigate.

Excellent airport with seamless flow between domestic and international. Christchurch airport is streets ahead of Auckland when it comes to user experience and why they don't put more international flights into Christchurch rather than Auckland
