This is the 10th hostel that I’ve stayed at in New Zealand and by far the best.nYou can park your car for free in the street next to the hostel, I always managed to get a spot.nWe were welcomed by a member of staff at the reception that gave us a short tour of the hostel. The rooms are a decent size and have their own private bathroom. I found the bed/mattress very comfortable. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily which is quite rare for a hostel. The kitchen is a bit small but is fully equipped and has enough fridge space for everyone. There’s a “games room” even has a PS4 and a “computer room” where you can chill out/work.nThe laundry service is unreal! You just leave the staff your bag of clothes and they do everything for you and leave it on your bed when it’s done!nAn overall clean and well located place to stay if you’re in Wānaka. I’d definitely stay here again!!
Lovely and very helpful staff. Really nice atmosphere with great communal spaces.nnThe kitchen is always very clean and modern with induction hobs etc. Bathrooms nice and modern as well we were in a 6 bed en-suite dorm. Beds also very comfy with two pillows, bedside sockets and storage.nnCannot recommend this hostel enough, my favourite so far in NZ.
Good: staff were phenomenal, communicative and helpful through the phone and in person. Clean shower, communal space and kitchen. Close to shops and the water.nnMight enjoy a better sleep by picking a lower bunk, the bed was shaky and my lower bunk mate wasn't a still sleeper. Didn't enjoy the social atmosphere particularly, but that differs day to day, overall a great option around the area.
A really great hostel.nNice beds with lights and plug sockets/usb sockets and curtains. Storage underneath. Can sleep soundly if someone isn’t snoring.nThey do laundary for you which is $10 dollars so on the pricey side but after 6 months of wellington hostel laundary battles it was a nice relief.nNice outdoor space you can access from your room and dry stuff if needed.nDidn’t use the kitchen but looked super modern.nEasy check in and check out. Asked if I needed to strip my bed and reception said they do it all. Storage if your bus is leaving later in the day.
Excellent hostel!nSuperb staff, very modern kitchen with induction stoves, clean bathrooms and multiple areas to hang out.nAlso very comfy beds and activities for the guests.nWould definitely come back here :
