Good hostel in Wanaka. The beds were comfortable and the check in went smoothly. The bathroom was clean however some back-up toilet rolls would have been cool as we ran out during the night. Within 5min you're in town. Although the kitchen was well stocked the design of it made it quite hard to cook with so many people. I can recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to sleep in Wanaka
The location is excellent—the lake and the supermarket are both within a 5-minute walk. The kitchen is on the smaller side but is clean and fully equipped. There is also a computer area available for use.nHowever, I found quite a few hairs on the bedsheets and duvet. Apart from that, the overall stay was quite pleasant.
Beautiful hostel in a central location in Wanaka. The kitchen is good. The PS4 added flavor to my children's trip; it was their favorite hostel of all our holidays.
I had an amazing experience at the Adventure Wanaka Hostel, the staff were super friendly and accomodating, the kitchen is modern and clean, and the rooms are kept tidy and plenty of storage space under the bed. There's two lounge rooms, one with a tv and one with computers and board games. I also loved that they provide you with towels at no extra fee. Its in a great location, walking distance to the local grocery store and to the lake. I've stayed in a few hostels but this one has definitely left an impact, it has a great vibe even with people constantly coming and going its really easy to make friends.
The best hostel in all of my NZ journey! Excellent staff, comfortable, very clean, not too fussy, gives you everything you need like towels, luggage storage etc.
