Really enjoyed our meal from here. Got the Dan Dan noodles and the hot oil noodles with pork belly and highly recommend both. We had to catch the ferry home so we got take away and didnt take too long to come out. Would come back again when in welly next
A popular spot for noodles! Mostly people come for takeaways but they have seating available to dine in!
Beautiful flavours, such a great variety of choice for Vegans and vegetarians, HIGHLY recommend the taro balls for a sweet treat at the end. Honestly such a cute and quaint place, not to be missed! Mainly soups on offer with option to add the meat of your choice. Average meal around $13. Highly recommend.
You can tell that the noodles are made fresh and with care. Great portions with flavourful spices and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Chicken pieces also had a nice kick to it, glad they were boneless and easy to bite into. Definitely recommend if you want fresh and homemade noodles.
Loved it . The images don't do the food justice. Beautiful subtle flavours..we will definitely be coming back.
A Taste Of Home is Wellington’s best kept secret, and I debated whether to even write this review because I kinda wanna keep it that way! It’s tucked in a small store space about midway down busy Victoria St, so it’s easy to miss unless you know it’s there. I’ve always gotten my meals to go, as there’s not much space inside for eating in
Loved the hand-pulled, homemade noodles with chicken broth dish for $10. You can tell that the noodles are made fresh and with care. Great portions with flavourful spices and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Chicken pieces also had a nice kick to it, glad they were boneless and easy to bite into.
I’ve always gotten my meals to go, as there’s not much space inside for eating in, but I have never been more impressed by the quality and depth of flavour of their food. Their menu is pretty customisable, and i recommend adding the hand pulled noodles to every meal - they are just to die for !!
This a small and very popular place, especially during the lunch time. I got a dry version which was quite spicy and delicious. Next time will try with broth.
