Recently I bought a Honda Fit from the Palmerston North branch and within a couple of days I was getting lots of warning lights flashing. This escalated to it not starting twice so I informed 2 Cheap of my issues and was instructed to take it to an MTA approved agent for a diagnosis. I took it to Honda themselves MTA approved who advised it was all pointing to a faulty battery. It had refused to start that morning so I proceeded to replace the battery or risk being stranded without a car. I sent through the report as requested, along with the battery receipt and was advised they’d do nothing as I’d already fixed the issue. Basically I got the run around after being ignored for a week, it’s obvious their intent is to make things as difficult and time consuming as possible so you’ll go away. Buy at your own risk.
Absolutely disgusting place to deal with! Our car we purchased from the palmerston north branch noticed issues the same day we got the car went straight back Jock told us it would be fixed! Claim and we will fix it, this car some how passed a wof the same day we got it yet our garage has found over $2500 worth of work that it should have failed the wof on!!! Not to mention the rattling in the boot we are taking them to motor transport tribunal they are refusing to sort these issues that the car came with! It carry 6 children and is currently unsafe to drive due to their negligence!
2 Cheap Cars Palmerston North is an excellent place to buy a Second- Hand Car at a reasonable price . They have lots of Automatic and Manual cars you take for a test drive. I would recommend this car yard to anyone wanting to buy a car .
I brought a car from here ! The salesman wasn't really pushy like some are which was good!
