Delicious Fried Chicken and Hot and Spicy Soup! Was here for dinner with a work colleague and everything was up to our expectations. Food portions are huge! This joint has an extensive menu of authentic Korean dishes and drinks and is only opened for dinner at the current moment. Beautiful ambience. Music can be quite loud from time to time but not to the point that it becomes unbearable. Despite that, the restaurant staff are very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Service was excellent. Upon arrival, we were given complimentary edamame and crackers. They've got plenty of seats downstairs and upstairs. You won't miss out if you didn't book one in advance. You can easily get one on the spot. Highly recommend! Can't wait to try their other dishes on my next visit back here!
Average Korean food with most dishes being hot pot. Dishes are meant to be for sharing and there ain't much choices. Alcohol are served in tea pot and it somehow tastes a bit weaker than what I remembered. We've ordered a seafood hot pot, it was quite yummy but there ain't much variety of seafood in the pot.
Great place to have a nice tasty Korean food. The red soup is very tasty Sundubu Jjigae and you can ask for the additional soup to the staff. There is no cakeage surcharge when celebrating the birthday in this restaurant. Credit card payment is accepted without additional surcharge.
A good place to hangout with friends for eating and drinking. Around 5 minutes walk from world square shopping mall and close to both museum and townhall stations. The food was tasty, good portion to share with, friendly and active staffs, vibrant music, nice deco and overall, suits to get together with friends. We were nicely greeted by the guy at counter and while spending our time at the restaurant; staffs were always there to help us in case we needed something. This is the second time I have visited this restaurant and the food and service is same good as before. I would definitely like to recommend others to visit 88 Pocha.
If you like authentic Korean food at lunch time, there us set menu $15 including small dishes and one main dish! Best value!
Quick service, large portion size and good flavours. The spicy sauce friend chicken was very nice.
I USED to love this place’s cold kimch noodles but when I went recently, it tasted like they’ve added coconut water or something. Music is too loud in my opinion maybe good if you are drinking and the male staffs are very very nice. Overall, I would visit for drinks sometimes but not for the noodle anymore if it keeps tasting like coconut. Cheese spciy buldak chicken was amazing except buldak means very spicy but it wasnt spicy at all
Good -Free delivery for Sydney CBD area. -Good portion. -Close after midnight. -Very friendly staff. -Actually much teatier than I expected. Bad -Nil
Always come back to 88 whenever we hold birthday celebrations since the atmosphere is vibrant and food are superb
Food portion was very generous and i love the spicy pork! Very recommended!!
