Been to many, many 7 Elevens around Melbourne for years and this was the first and hopefully last unpleasant encounter with a staff member. Came to this particular store tonight 20th March around 10:30pm and the Indian guy working there alone was unfriendly from the moment I entered the store. I don't know if he was just having a rough night or has had to deal with some rude customers that night, but he was not at all nice to deal with. Just terrible customer service skills! Most of the staff working at 7 Elevens are usually friendly and helpful but he definitely wasn't one of them. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that has had a bad experience with this guy and management should probably look into this staff member. Will not be coming back to this store after this experience.
Don't open it 24 hours a day if there is no one to serve. No one answered the doorbell when I closed the door, and there was no staff at the gas station.
I regularly visit this particular 7/11 many times a week.nnI have always found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.nnAfter reading some of the reviews, I have to say, I have never had any issues with any of the equipment.nnIf ever there is an issue, the staff are always approachable and willing to assist.
I Recommend this store! I Can't fault this service station actually. I gave 5 stars for a few reasons - some listed are -nThe staff are friendly & remember you, which is nice. It is always very clean & well stocked. They offer a large variety of fresh sandwiches, hot food and cakes etc. I not only go for my petrol but regularly to get a slurpee. Slurpee machine has always been working & 4 options of flavours. Also multiple coffee machines.nAnother reason, to recommend, is the soft car wash & vacuums that are hard to find in this area.nObviously, service stations are busy stores, but I have never had to wait long at all.nOn Springvale Road but has 2 entrances to make it easy to pull in to.
Please do not visit this place if you wish to support workers with a poor attitude, lazy service and are unprofessional. Also they don’t know how to answer their phone - maybe because they are on their own phones .nnI have to agree with the low rating that a couple other folks have raised. Last night at around 11:00pm 14/11/2024, the lady assigned to the shift was very unprofessional. Even if she doesn’t want to work, she needs to seek help to correct her attitude problem.nnNot to Karen on, but let me just say that this isn’t really a loss for me so much as it is a loss on their business. I don’t mind, there are other stations in Forest hill that I and others can substitute.nnI paid for a full car wash and I kindly requested the sleeve for my wipers. In a lazy, unprofessional demeanour, she said she didn’t have any and she couldn’t do anything about it. Then why offer sleeves at all to begin with? Unless she was willing to accept damage and an insurance claim against the store for her utter laziness that’s just stupid. That was the first straw.nnI proceeded to use the car wash but it malfunctioned. After it had sprayed my car with soap and some water, it just stopped. This has never happened to me before and I was stationary in my vehicle the whole time.nnI then proceeded to confront the employee about the situation. To my disappointment, rather than accepting responsibility or having an apology for offering me a faulty service and charging me for it, she gave me the same stinky attitude and attempted to blame me. When moving into the car wash, you receive instructions about your positioning and then you remaining stationary for the remaining duration. This is precisely what I did and have always done in the past. Another review raises a similar experience too. Please note in the future that selling a faulty service that fails to maintain a standard of care under ACL can warrant legal action.nnWhen she could not accept responsibility for her flaw in argument, she replied “I do not have time for this”. Well lady then what are you working for? I don’t see you serving any other staff? Perhaps you are embarrassed about your poor work etiquette and being called out about what it has caused.nnTo which I demanded and was entitled to a refund. At least she did one thing right.nnI could not care less about the $15 but I will not be visiting this petrol station anymore for at least the next 12 months or until management has changed. In addition to this, I will continue to spread the word to friends, colleagues and family in the area to avoid this petrol station. It’s a shame that the store will have to suffer because of a lousy employee but oh well, these things are not usually followed up upon. I would like to see them prove me wrong and take some responsibility.
