– Very disappointing customer servicennI visited the 7-Eleven in Mooroolbark today just to get a Slurpee. The flavour I originally wanted wasn’t available, so I tried a different one, took a sip, and decided I didn’t like it. I threw it away and was about to leave, but the two male employees on shift insisted I had to pay for it anyway.nnI understand store policies, but forcing a customer to pay for something they didn’t even consume and had already disposed of feels extremely unfair and heavy-handed. I wasn’t trying to steal anything — I simply changed my mind after realising the flavour wasn’t what I wanted.nnI’ve been to plenty of other 7-Elevens where staff handle situations like this with basic customer service and understanding. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The way this was handled left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and it’s definitely not the kind of service I expect from a convenience store.nnVery disappointed.
The woman behind the counter is really in bad attitude, cold, no smile, without any customer service skills. I said very clear that I would pay for number 3 and she pushed the wrong one, I doubted the amount and checked again it was number 3! She said I told her number 5! What ridiculous! It sounds like? Then she said she can process refund, then I paid the right one, just like everything was customer's fault... what interesting.. she processed everything twith no expression on her face at all, which is such bad experience I ever had before. It happened at 9pm on 6 Dec, I have to make formal complain about the woman who served me at that time.
Petrol was super cheap, lots of good eats and snacks to choose from. Their app is terrific to get cheap petrol, store discounts, and a free item every 6 visits.
Store is always stocked, great range of products and fantastic customer service. The lady on the counter today was absolutely lovely. Best coffee in Mooroolbark.
Shout out to Kasi for reliable, fast service every day. Always serving me and my partner with a smile. Great stuff.
